Designer Patricia Hollis was born and raised in Highland Park, MI. She graduated from Cass Technical high school in Detroit, MI, and attended Columbia College of Chicago, studying Fashion Design.  

 

In 2010, Patricia launched her fashion label, Marsa Alam. Marsa Alam merges ideals of paradise and high fashion to form a cool collection of luxury resort textiles. Inspired by travel and movement, the vision of Marsa Alam is to dress the jet setter; whether she is going to Dubai or Detroit. 

 

Patricia has showcased her collections in over 20 fashion shows across the country, including during New York Fashion Week. Her collections have been featured several times in Vogue, VH1, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Out magazines, as an emerging designer and “style obsession”.  

 

Patricia was simply born to create. Whether painting, sewing, or sketching, she has always been able to express herself through creative outlets.
